A Defamiliarization of the Way Objects Are Seen. The art duo 431art (Haike Rausch and Torsten Grosch, who have lived and worked in F rankfurt/Main since 1996) demonstrates how contemporary art can interact with society. As the makers of personified plants, 431art h as now created a first with their botanoadopt(R) and Pflanzenklappe(R). Of the approximately 1,000 plants they've placed with adopti ve parents over the course of their project, 100 of them present a world in which plant life is seen in a new way.
